This is merely a rough mockup of the Titanic we built at Digital Domain to be used for pre-visuallisation shots with a lipstick camera. The project was led by Gene Rizzardi and crewed with about a dozen of us. Jim Cameron demanded to have it built and delivered to stage in only 9 days, and that's exactly what he got.





It's about 25 feet long, splits in half, has removable decks and stacks, contains 35 fluorescent lights, and is mounted on nice castors. It's built mostly with gator-board and sintra, with some styrene and cast urethane details.
