VENUS ON THE HALFSHELL

This was a feature length film directed by Neils Neilsen. I was brought on as art director and special effects coordinator. There were guns, fires, and a narly motorcycle crash down a cliff. A SAG experimental film, it is now seeking a distributor for final release.

We miraculously found the truck shown on the left the day before shooting. It belongs to an asphalt company. We added custom signage and lights borrowed from the local fire station, and it looked pretty official. I even wired the lights to a dashboard switch.

Shown on the right, I repainted a famous Renoir on the computer to match one of the actresses.

This dam was the location of some stunts and a rescue. I set up a pump to spray water over the edge. The camera crew is below.
